Spock works as a bartender in Jim's bar

I remember this wonderful AU I can't seem to find: Spock seems to have run away from home? And he finds a job in a bar that Jim owns. Only, the bar is a front to Jim's illegal activities, I think. Jim wants to protect Spock as much as possible from knowing his true business and being involved. Spock on the other hand, wants Jim to trust him more, wants to show him that he can be depended on. I remember Spock gets hurt at some point, and the ending is a poignant scene in which they're in bed.

IIRC, the fic is written for a Big Bang, and it's found on AO3.

Jim is Pike's ward and went to live with him. He meets cadet!Spock and they strike up a friendship. All I remembered is that they were talking about Vulcan evolution and how all the vulcans have dark hair. Spock mentioned that there used to be light haired Vulcans but they were kept as love slaves with a heavy indication that Jim looks like one or something. Jim isnt in Starfleet when they first met.

I would appreciate any help. I just hope it wassn't taken down.
