Late to the party, but I'm in the middle of moving and someone gave me Diablo 3 for my birthday :) Also, I'm a mother of 2...
I know of two that I really love. The Opposite of Expediency (http://ewinfic.livejournal.com/40154.html), by ewinfic - it's Reeboot, post-movie, and has something that's a weakness of mine; McCoy being an awesome doctor. Honorable Enemies (http://zauzat.livejournal.com/11067.html), by zauzat is angsty, has a competent but emotionally struggling McCoy, and a steadfast and supporting Spock. Both are first time, I believe the first one is fairly explicit.
