CMM's Finding Thyla here http://ksarchive.com/viewstory.php?sid=3410&warning=2. Kirk and Spock meet when Kirk is five and the two are raised together. It follows them through to the Narada incident and is several chapters long but it is amazing. The first few chapters with kid Jim and Spock are seriously adorable.
