King's Gambit (http://archiveofourown.org/works/866217) by shinysylver is a Reboot remix of that episode.

Veritas (http://archiveofourown.org/works/1141066/chapters/2308617) by theproblematique is another Reboot fic, less explicitly related to the episode with a more elaborate plot of its own (and very long, ~175k), but Ben Finney does feature as a prominent antagonist.

I'm not sure if either of these is the kind of thing you're looking for, but if not, I hope someone else can recommend something for you! :D

An Admirable Mistake (https://www.fanfiction.net/s/11202344/1/An-Admirable-Mistake) by KaraStorm mentions Ben Finney in passing, and Areel Shaw appears again, this time representing Kirk against allegations of . . . well, I'll let you find that out! Makes mention in passing also to a few details of A Court Martial.
