Well written Broken!Jim

Hi! Was wondering if you could help me find fics with broken Jim. I'm not necessarily looking for fics where Jim is feminized (in fact if that can be avoided that would be great)- but definitely broken or angsting. I've read fics by vaingirlfic  and ninhursag  or viggorlijah  's 5 times fic and they are my favorite. I'm ok with angst/humour too. I'd prefer the reboot verse but I'm ok with TOS too. Same with the coupleds- I'd prefer Spock/Jim but any other pairings (even het ones) or gen fics are awesome too.

Sorry, it's Kirk/McCoy (all of her stuff is) but I really enjoy it…lots of hurt/comfort and Kirk angsting. Here's the master list (http://d8rkmessngr.livejournal.com/49490.html). If you want an awesome Spock/Kirk with some angsty, broken Jim, read The Sum of Its Parts (http://jbmcdragon.livejournal.com/518610.html), by jbmcdragon, which is probably one of my favorite Star Trek stories ever. It's multi-chapter and it's spectacular.

In addition to the above, there's the Five Times James Kirk Almost Died by Angelbaby1 on ff.net that I particularly adore. I would also suggest classics_geek's series of fics, as well as the series by waldorf and oh! re_white also writes a great broken Jim (not in series) along with anything by 1297. Also "what chain reaction" by walksbyherself. Um ... there's lots. There's all the Tarsus-focused fics as well ... but that should get you started?

Actually yes. I'm afraid I've read and obsessed over her fics an embarrassingly number of times. *gushes* s/u/k is my absolutely favorite pairing thanks to her. She's great isn't she?! Thank you though!
