Any good Kirk recs and a specific fic

I can't remember what this fic is called but basically one part is Kirk was rescued from tarsus and then wiped his record and jumped ship ASAP. He was then gone for the next 9(?) years. later he shows up in riverside (like the movie) and pike doesn't realize that he's been missing.
I also remember that in a fight class the first class he was made a teachers assistant. Oh and later the admirals called him in and said stuff like "where have you been ... You know we'll have to contact your mother" and Kirk shuts them down.

Also any good smart Kirk or BAMF Kirk fics are welcome.
