awesome slash/gen Sulu fics

I'm looking for some Sulu-centric fics, preferable nuTrek but TOS is fine too. I'd prefer slash or gen and for these fics to be at least a few thousand words... But I've read the bigbang Sulu fics, so not those please!

My main criteria is that these fics be about Sulu, as in Sulu is the one who is hurt or dealing with angst, if the fic is angsty. A lot of the fics generally have Chekov in that position but I've read those and I am looking for ones where Sulu is the one who needs comforting or saving.

Thanks!

You know, you're right. Rummaging my files, I see Chekov pounded on a lot. OTOH, in a romance, often both people suffer when either does.

On This Side of Twilight (http://community.livejournal.com/newtrekslash/398066.html) features Sulu dealing with being widowered, basically.

The Private Correspondence (http://hollycomb.livejournal.com/149402.html) features Sulu getting mashed.

Codependent (with the dead in a dead language) (http://6street.livejournal.com/20689.html) is about the aftermath of the movie events.

Across the Universe (http://hollycomb.livejournal.com/153948.html) is about Chekov and Sulu being separated, Sulu POV . Really, you could do worse than to rummage [livejournal.com profile] hollycomb's Star Trek (http://hollycomb.livejournal.com/112046.html) fics.

Kakushibori (http://emiime.livejournal.com/431165.html) is a lovely angsty AU.

If you don't mind Kirk/Sulu, I've tagged "Sulu-centric" fics on the master list (http://delicious.com/kirk_sulu/%28character%29sulu-centric) though I haven't been super-diligent about it.

iambickilometer also compiled THE BIG DAMN SULU FIC RECLIST (http://iambickilometer.dreamwidth.org/6455.html) back in June.
