Protective Kirk?

I'm looking for fics where Kirk is highly protective of Spock and events for some reason or another bring this trait to the fore. Either TOS or Reboot fics are acceptable.

My summary: Spock goes undercover as a sex slave, and Jim is flipping his shit. WIP, but long and awesome. Kirk being highly protective of Spock is pretty much the entire theme of the fic. Enjoy!

Well, it being Kirk's second nature, it's hard to think of fics specificially about that ;)

(http://www.allslash.org/tos/captain.html) by Liz Ellington (pre-slash, getting to know). If you want an adventure, there's Mimor Six (http://www.ksarchive.com/viewstory.php?sid=318&warning=1) by Jesmihr, though it's not my favorite of hers.
