Hi! I have found myself in the mood for Star Trek fic recently and find myself rather disappointed at how many stories make out Kirk to be a complete moron. I'm tired of the whole 'doesn't read any mission briefings, sleeps with anyone that moves even if it endangers the mission' version of Kirk, which isn't realistic to me.

So, can I get recs for fics with hurt!Jim where he isn't hurt because he's stupid? I would LOVE if Spock was involved in the fic and romance or bromance works for me when it comes to them, but I would prefer only bromance with Bones!

I would also love fics where Jim protects his crew (and also isn't stupid) and shows them how awesome he is.

Hello everyone, I am new to this. So pardon me if I make mistakes. I have combed the internet over the last few months for long (like really long 50k-800k) stories revolving around Spock, particularly if he is hurt/injured/sick/depressed/abused (I'll take anything. Explicit violence and sexual content do not bother me.) So if you have any recs, I'd be grateful if you could share them here.

Hello! First time posting here. There is a fic where Bones get caught in a cave in with Jim outside. He tells Jim that he is fine and to go on ahead back to the Enterprise. I think someone else was injured and Jim had to go back asap. The thing is that Jim asks if Bones is ok and the Doctor says he is perfectly fine, so Jim goes. Turns out he wasn't and Jim is pissed because they found him half dead and he had just LEFT Bones there. I was sure I had it saved but I don't know if I'm forgetting to do so, or if FFNet and Archiveofourown are deleting my favs. Anyone know the fic I'm talking about? I don't remeber if it's one fic or like a chapter of a whole. I think it was gen. Thanks in advance!

I'm pretty sure it was a 5+1 fic where Jim gets hurt or saves each of the crew but this is the scene I remember:
Chekov is trapped in a room on the enterprise that contains a poisonous plant that they can't risk opening the doors for but he only has like 2% oxygen left. Kirk knocks Spock down, who gets pissed, and get chekov out only to put himself in.

Hey y'all. I'm trying to find a fic that I remember in which Kirk has to call someone (I think a pirate) while on the bridge. He has Uhura pull up the comm info and then says call them, then freaks out and says not to, and then has her call them before he says no again. I think the person was a pirate or someone, and they joke about how he had punched Kirk and that Kirk had left him for jail. Everyone on the bridge is kinda weirded out by the conversation and Spock asks all the questions after. Might have ties to Tarsus IV, I think Kirk was calling the pirate dude because he needed someone to get through an embargo or something similar to Tarsus, or the dude new about Tarsus, or something. I think it was a part of a longer fic but idk at this point. Any help is appreciated, thank you!!!

Hey y'all. I am trying to find a fic that I read a long long time ago and now can not find it for the life of me. I know I read it on fanfiction.net, but if someone can find it on other platforms I will take that.

It has been a few years so the details are a little sketchy. I remember there was definite Bones/Kirk tones, although I can't remember if it was shipping or just all the friendship. It wasn't an excessively long fic, it was stand alone, not a part of a big story. Basics is that Kirk was being tortured by an alien race. I think he was in a glass tube or something and they were giving him a drug that made him see all the bridge crew die in front of him and all he could do was pound on the glass.

Potentially the same fic or a different one, same idea in that aliens made him see his crew die in front of him, but I am remembering (maybe) a scene in which they are all on the bridge and either the drug thing happens then or they replay/etc. their deaths and Bones has to grab Kirk to make him realize it is not true while the rest of the bridge watches (with surprise?)

Hi !

I'm looking for a story where Spock makes a mistake ans thinks he's supposed to give Kirk a blow job to apologize since one of his teachers a the academy taught him that was what he was supposed to do. Kirk and McCoy get very angry and Spock thinks he's done something wrong.

I'd also love any rec with that kind of situations where Kirk and/or McCoy (or even Pike) get very protective of Spock and Spock seems vulnerable in some way.

I’ve used ST-ficfinder a handful of times but I’m still struggling to find the themes I’m looking for. I’ve been searching for more hurt Spock fics lately and it’s been hard to come across them. I’d like to read some stories that focus on Spock being either injured, abused, ill, enslaved, captured and hurt, depressed, anything like that! I know this is rather vague but I’m not picky! I’ve read some really good ones and I know they’re out there, it’s just a matter of finding them! Hopefully you can recommend some for me.

It’s a bonus if you can find some where Jim is protective over Spock, does anything he can to save him, or takes care of him in the process. Or even Jim just being dominant while Spock is fairly submissive. My favorites are Spirk but I also don’t mind McCoy being the one to help Spock. Spones is perfectly accpetable! I’d prefer Abrams Universe but that’s not a requirement! Thank you so much in advance and I appreciate anyone who takes the time to rec stories. Anything that you feel is remotely close to the themes is welcomed!

I'm looking for fics where Spock meets Frank or Winona under less than auspicious circumstances. Basically I'm looking for fics where Frank or Winona have been bad parents and they show up (preferably post 2009 movie) looking for Jim for whatever reason. I'd like Spock to be with Jim when they appear and for the confrontation to turn nasty and Spock or Jim's protective sides show. I've read:

2. Walk With Me
3. Atlas

So I have a sudden craving for fics dealing with Spock's sense of isolation, whether loneliness, xenophobia, misunderstandings, whatever. Even better if somehow tied into the massive loss of bonds in the Vulcan disaster. TOS/AOS both loved! Or AUs. Bullying, hurt, exclusions, feeling of being an outsider, anything and everything and more. Any or no pairing is fine, but Kirk/Spock is preferred. Any ideas?

Normally I love the Vulcan culture, but since even in real life not everybody lives up to an entire culture's ideals, I was wondering if anybody had any good recs of fic that deals with vulcan prejudices. Like, for instance, I know there's one (I kinda hope someone can find it ^_^) where the bridge crew is at some kind of conference on tolerance, and several Vulcans are basically bamouthing Spock. I think McCoy even calls them on it, he kicks the back of thir chair and says some thing like 'Can you keep it down? I'm busy learning how not to insult you when I call you a Hobgoblin.' or something like that. Basically any fics where, although the Vulcan people are given respect, it's basically pointed out that they occasionally have a real problem with accepting others (like Spock) and that this completely runs counter to IDIC. Or stories where Kirk ends up defending Spock from his own people. The longer the better, and K/S preferred but not absolutely required. Thanks a lot!

Hey ya'll! I'm looking for a Kirk/McCoy academy era fic where it starts from the shuttle. There are a lot of original characters and, primarily deals with Kirk's trust issues and their budding attraction. McCoy is only person Kirk trusts, but McCoy doesn't think Kirk is attracted him, so they stay at friendship. Kirk is struggling with his trust issues to start a relationship with Leonard. It's kind of angsty, super super super long. They visit McCoy's grandmother at one point. McCoy is working on studying a virus, something goes wrong, and he gets infected and almost dies. I think he likes starts bleeding out of every orifice, and Jim does not take it well. Another primary character is McCoy's ex-girlfriend, who starts dating another woman. Jim and Leonard talk a lot about what love is and things like that.

The whole story is from Leonard's POV, but I think there's a sequel with Jim's??? And I think it was A03.

I've been looking for a story I read a while ago, it involved Joanna, Bones, and Kirk. I remember the three of them were having a picnic outside, I think Joanna when to through something away and she was grabbed and pulled into a van or something. I remember Kirk getting on a motorcycle and going after them, I don't think he had any shoes on or something like that. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I can't remember if it was gen, or slash. Could have been mccoy/kirk but not sure.

I am looking for an AU story, possibly posted at Fanfiction.net perhaps in 2009-2010, various chapters, where Spock is kidnapped by a Romulan General. The Romulan General rapes/bonds with Spock.

Somehow Kirk, through a connection he still has with Spock is able to connect/talk/sense that Spock is still alive.

The Romulan General falls in love with Spock, and Spock also develops some feelings for him. Kirk is able to negotiate for Spock's release.

Kirk is jealous of the fact the General has been with Spock, the jealousy is also due to the fact Spock is scantily dressed. The negotiations to get Spock back are tense, possible battle ensues, Spock is released and I believe something happens to the General. Possibly death???

It was a WIP.

Does anyone remember this story?

Ok so i've recently stumbled across the Baseball series read by the fantastic SilverShadowKitsune only to find that the whole series has vanished from the net. At least as far as i can tell. The first four installments can be found on the audio archive but the last two are MIA. Would anyone happen to have a copy of the full six they'd be willing to share with me? Hello! So, I absolutely adore everything kyliselle has written, and have retread their fics multiple times. However it appears that the author is not going to write any more stories so I'll just have to get my fix elsewhere. :)

On to my request. I'm looking for stories that are Kirk/Spock and feature them being super protective of each other. Like 'touch my human/Vulcan and I will maim you with my awesomeness' protective of each other. I like any genres except for death or dark fics. Thank you for helping me out and good luck! :)

P.S. I'm looking for a very vague, it's not even a story theme but an idea really. I love when Spock refers to Jim as my Jim. Usually he does this out loud and during coitus with his Captain. Are there any fics that revolve or at least contain this? Don't worry if there aren't, this is more of a bonus search than anything else.

Ok, I am new here and really happy to have found this place. I am looking FICs that focus on the early building of Jim and Spock's relationship.

1) Relationship has rocky or unsure or antagonistic start but they learn over time how to relate and get along (and maybe that they love each other)
2) So I love slash Kirk/Spock but this is not a requirement--the friendship/pre-slash building is the important part
3) TOS or AU is fine
4) The longer the FIC the better
5) Slow builds own my soul

I don't remember a lot about this fic but what I do remember is either an assistant to Sarek or Spock Prime is aboard the Enterprise. He says something insulting about Spock and gets punched in the face. I know that is not a lot to go on but I hope that somebody recognizes it.
