Spy!Spock

I've noticed that st_xi_kink_meme  starts next month and it made me think of something I would love to read.  But before I get ready to post a prompt, I was wondering if someone unknowingly fufilled my desires.

I'm wanting a completely au, where (like what could have happened in the novel Strangers From the Sky) Earth became xenophobic and isolated, not traveling into space anymore. Vulcan still wants to study humans and sends Spock (along with others, of course) as a spy down to Earth.  Spock and Kirk meet and romance ensues.  Then, for whatever reason, Spock has to leave Earth.  Kirk doesn't know that Spock is an alien.

Anything like that out there yet?

You know, I've never seen a fic like that but I vaguely feel like somebody is doing something kinda similar for startrekbigbang? I could easily be thinking about a jumbled mix of different people's ideas and couldn't tell you who, but you might wanna keep your eye out once the posting starts.

I remember a fic called 'Edward ScissorSpock' that was posted I think not too long ago, it kind of fills your prompt?

Instead of being a spy, Spock is stranded, and decides to 'study' humans, and stays with Winona Kirk and her family, and naturally falls in love with Jim. :)

Unfortunately I can't remember the author, but I hope you can find it!
