K/S General AU search

Hi, all! I have finally come to accept K/S as a pretty legit pairing(my OTP is Kirk/Mccoy) but have found that I really prefer AU fics. Specifically, fics where Kirk and Spock meet as children/teenagers. I'd love to read any that ya'll might know.

Things that would be awesome but are not a requirement, so to speak:
~ Kirk being really smart/capable/not a douche
~ It taking place on Vulcan
~ Kirk having a Tragic Past

I've just finished beta-ing a really great long kidfic by notboldly50295, and it'll be posted to the kirkspock comm in a few days, if you can hold out for it. It's SUCH a pleasure.
