fics accurate on Vulcan body temperature

Hi all,

I’m looking for fics that base Vulcan body temperature off of canon and not fanon. Canon being that Vulcans = 91F, cooler than human.

I know they exist because I’ve read them, but among the hundreds of fics I’ve bookmarked I didn’t tag them based on how the authors portrayed Vulcan physiology.

Slash is preferred, but I’d also like a general composite in the interest of fandom research of all genres and pairings, TOS or Reboot. I don’t care how vague the reference to human or Vulcan body temperature, just so long as it flips the misguided idea of Spock and other Vulcans being hot to the touch on its misinformed head. :D

It's actually an interesting discussion point, as it's NOT clear in canon. Canon reflection of Vulcan temperatures widely varies. The 91F comes from a secondary source, not from direct TOS canon. Here (http://ontd-startrek.livejournal.com/1360674.html?thread=171056930#t171056930)'s one discussion on it, that may or may not have accompanying fanfic recs - I can't remember, sorry! - but maybe others have better links.

Well, I do at least mention a cooler Vulcan body temperature in my fic, We'll Walk In Ecstasy (http://eagle-of-idiocy.livejournal.com/30524.html). Be advised it is a very, VERY brief mentioning, but it's there. XD (It's K/S, and it's about Kirk who gets suddenly turned into a Vulcan and then undergoes pon farr, in a nutshell. :P)

You're welcome! I think the reference is somewhere in part two, actually. :3

There's a k/s reboot story that actually mentions that. It's a really good one too. If you haven't read it yet, you should check it out. "A Bump in the Night" by DB2020

Shamelessly self-pimping here, but I've got blink and you'll miss it quick mentions of it in a couple of K/S stories:
