Spock/Kirk Amnesia Fic
Hi,
I'm looking for a Kirk amnesia fic. It was a one shot with a follow-up. Kirk comes to in a forest with Spock. They are hiding from some sort of insurgency (happened in the middle of a diplomatic dinner, I think). Due to a head injury Kirk can't remember his name or being in Starfleet. He comes off as a bit naive and childlike. Kirk and Spock end up having to sneak back into the facility they escaped from to get their communicators and get beamed out just as one of the bad guys shoots a gun at them. Once back on the ship, Kirk is examined. He doesn't get his memory back but is allowed to remain as captain since his intelligence is not affected. He comes to suspect that Spock and he had a relationship due to his previous Captain's log entries (Spock is so smart, Spock is so funny, Spock's eyes, etc.). He confronts Spock with his suspicions. Spock confirms that though they never acted on their feelings, they did love each other.
The follow-up one shot focused on Kirk talking to Bones. He is nervous about having sex with Spock as he considers himself to be a virgin since he does not remember any of his previous sexual activity.
This is an old favorite and I have been looking for it for a while. If you can help identify/locate it, I will be very appreciative!
