Spock Prime bringing Jim up

I had this idea today, and now I wonder whether anyone wrote it. What if Spock Prime got to the Reboot universe several years earlier, somehow escaped from Nero/Delta Vega, discovered that young Jim Kirk is abused/unhappy with his current parents, and ended up bringing him up? Do stories like this exist?

Time's Divergence by [livejournal.com profile] logical_stimuli: Let's pretend that Spock Prime came through the same time Nero did, and Kirk lost both parents in the attack. Spock Prime raises Kirk, teaching him all he needs to know.

It is a WIP but is supposedly completed and in edits. Winona marries Frank and Jim is abused. Spock saves him.
