I'm looking for a few original recipe Trek fics, gen humor. I can only remember a smattering of details from each; I think they were all by the same author.

First one was written in the form of a letter from Spock to Amanda. He and McCoy had been sent on a mission of some sort to Signet 14 and run into some manner of trouble. I think Spock may have cause a small incident by criticizing their reprogramming the Enterprise to call Kirk "dear"? Anyway, at some point Spock ends up in a card game (poker?) and has to put McCoy on the table when their funds run low. By his word, McCoy was more valuable for having fathered a daughter.

What I remember most clearly of the next one is that McCoy got an arrow through the arm and took it remarkably well. Once back to the ship, Kirk puts in a commendation for him. McCoy is not pleased; Spock doesn't understand why until McCoy points out that with all the commendations they end up getting for their screwball away missions, the higher ups are gonna get to thinking they're all unstable.

The last one may actually be two different fics. I know there was a lot of focus on McCoy and on Chapel, and M'Benga had a pretty fair role as well. It was pretty slice-of-life. At one point Chapel, Uhura and Sulu are talking about Christmas gifts, despite Christmas being a ways away, and Chapel mentioning that her shopping is already done; she got McCoy coffee beans dipped in dark chocolate and covered in powdered sugar. There's mention of a running gag among the med staff that McCoy lacks internal organs, though I'm fuzzy on the explanation for that one. Chapel has an unwanted admirer, who McCoy gets in a bar fight with. Also, there's a running gag with med personnel laughing about a doctor whose name I forget who used forceps; Uhura asks a couple times what's so funny, but is told "it doesn't translate well." I know someone finally explained the joke was his name. Chapel, McCoy and M'Benga get quarantined for some reason somewhere in all this, unless that's something different.

These are all stories by the same author - Kelthammer. You can find a listing at 1001 Trek Tales (http://www.trektales.com/Kelthammer.html). She has also posted a number of longer stories in various places, but I don't think there is a complete archive.
