Spock/mccoy accidental bond

Hi all,

I have been desperately searching for a specific fic to no avail. I'm hoping you guys will know more :)

The fic involved mccoy and spock bonding accidentally somehow. Neither are really aware of it until later. Some specific scenes I remember are spock talking to ambassador spock(old!Spock) and asking his advice, Spock preventing McCoy from leaving a conference room after receiving some bad news. Also the bond is hurting McCoy because it was never completed/acknowledged.

Hope this is enough to find it!

YES! It totally is. I always forget that kirk is in this one :P Seems like a rather egregious error.
