I'm looking for a fic that I believe was rather long, but I don't remember most of the story. The bit that sticks out to me is that Kirk and Spock were bonded at some point, but Spock went off to pursue Kolinahr and Jim goes back to Iowa. Jim can feel Spock trying to break the bond during his studies, and gets headaches. At one point, Spock tries so hard that the resulting headache/migraine knocks Jim unconscious -- while using a comm panel or replicator (or somesuch). Bones shows up around/after that point, and then Spock eventually shows up because Jim held on so tightly to the bond that Kolinahr couldn't break it and Spock realized he really did love Jim (again, or somesuch) and the end was all happy-lovey-dovey.

1. Winona had killed Kodos and was in prison. Spock gets in contact with her. He wanted to learn about Kirk's past because he wanted to date Kirk. At one point Kirk and Spock are having dinner and when Spock makes a move on Kirk is hits him over the head. Spock wakes up in Sickbay.

2. This happens after Vulcan is destroyed. Bones and Galia are engaged. I believe that Spock and Kirk are bonded. Spock sends a note from the Vulcan embassy that he is going to end their bond. He wants to help rebuild Vulcan. Sarek and Old Spock try to change his mind. Jim is packing up their apartment because he is going on a 5 year mission. He puts all of the memento from his relationship with Spock in a b ox. Sarek comes to talk to Jim and he takes the box to Spock.

Are there any stories where Spock tries to bond, perhaps with another Vulcan for ponn farr or with anyone at all, and they cannot be bonded because Spock has an existing accidental bond? With Uhura, or Kirk?

Hi All,

Could you recommend me accidental bonding fics? I was inspired by kyliselle's How High the Moon.
E.g.:
- Spock and Jim has to meld for a reason and because they have such compatible minds, a bond is formed
- one of them saves the other and a bond is formed
- or any other variation
What I'd like to see that they didn't plan this, weren't in a relationship, maybe didn't even like each other all that much or Spock was still dating Uhura. However, whatever was, now they have to figure out what to do. I prefer a happy ending. :)

So I've been looking for a fic I read a long while ago now. It's a Kirk/Spock/McCoy pon farr fic. There are loads of them out there, but there's a specific one I'd like to find. If I remember correctly in this one Kirk, Spock and McCoy are stranded somewhere together when Spock goes into pon farr. McCoy and Kirk decide to take care of it, of course, and Spock bonds with them both. There's a nice follow up fic a few years down the line, when they're an established threesome and Spock goes into his second pon farr.

Does this ring a bell for anyone?

I just love the Triumvirate as a whole and want to see them happy...But the masochistic part of me enjoys reading about the pain before the pleasure I guess.

I'm looking for any good endgame-Mcspirk fics in which two of them are together (or supposedly together, or are getting together) while the third pines from afar (or from a-near, I'm not picky on that front). Maybe the third is encouraging the two to get together? Maybe the established pair are actually also pining for their third to join them?? Maybe Mcspirk is already established but one (or more) of them starts feeling insecure???

I would love to read more pining!Kirk (please please please), since pining!Bones is already my jam (like jfc). And I can't say I've read any pining!Spock with McKirk (godddd) happening yet, but it's probably (hopefully) only a matter of time.

I've read some Mcspirk of the pining variety before, but only a few on AO3. Please help expand my search there, and across LJ/FFN. I'd really appreciate it.

I am trying to find a fix that I read awhile ago and I can't remember where. I think Jim was at Star Fleet Academy and Spock was a professor. Spock is teaching a hand to hand combat class and while he and Jim are sparring they form an accidental bond. Does that sound familiar to anyone?

I haven't really looked for the fic but RL has been a bit hectic...

Okay, here goes. I think its an AOS fic and not on AO3 or ff.net :? I could be wrong.

For some reason Spock's memories are reset to around the time of Jim's disciplinary hearing; he therefore dislikes Jim. And cannot for the life of him think why he bonded to the human and so resolves to have the bond removed/broken. All of this upsets Jim, who Spock had told that the bond can never be broken; Jim therefore agrees because Spock lied to him.

I remember:
- Spock Prime trying to talk Spock out of breaking their bond.
- Jim thinks about how Spock compared him to Vulcan's sun, and called him Las'hark.
- Eventually Spock changes his mind but Jim is adamant about going through with the procedure.

Any and all help is appreciated! ♥

I have such a craving for bonding fics and I want them to hurt Spock. Rejection, physical effects, internal angst, blocked bonds, broken bonds, anything and everything as long as it hurts. Preferably with a happyish ending, but not required. Kirk/Spock is ideal, but any pairing will do. Any suggestions for some good Spock angst bond fics? Thanks!

This fic was pretty old, I believe, I think I might have read it on an independent archive (old fashioned webpage type), which is probably why I'm having trouble finding it.

Basic rundown: the daughter of human archeologist on vulcan gets betrothed to a vulcan boy as a child, vulcan style. I think the boy's father was the girl's father's coworker.
Way later in the story things go awry; I remember that the girl was raped and ended up really insecure about the betrothal. I'm fuzzy on the details, but I think her mother wasn't a shining example for humanity? Oh, and the last bit had the obligatory Pon Farr suspense.

I remember early in the story that the archeologists had found some glass objects (bottles?) and a comment about vulcans making glass very early in their history because they didn't have clay.

There was an eventual happy ending.

It's really bugging me right now, so any help would be appreciated.

FOUND: It was actually on AO3, though the author is old. I had also been reading stuff at House of Tucker at the time, which is probably why I thought I'd read it on an old fashioned archive.

I read this story a few months ago but can't remember much apart from one particular scene. It's Kirk/Spock set during and possible before Into Darkness. In the fic Spock somehow forms a bond with Jim (I don't remember how) but doesn't tell him. The scene that I remember is after the mission to Nibiru when Jim finds out in Pike's office that Spock put the stuff about violating the prime directive into his report. Jim is feeling betrayed and Spock is all mental angst like 'No, no, no! That wasn't what I meant!'

Unfortunately I don't remember what anything else about the fic. If this sounds familiar to anyone I'd love it if you could point me in the right direction!

I've been looking for a specific fic for a while, I post every couple months in hopes someone's found it. All I remember is that Kirk and Spock are bonded, and Spock goes off to pursue Kolinahr. While trying to achieve it, he has to try and break the T'hy'la bond, and the effort gives Jim headaches -- the last of which makes him pass out. Unable to break the bond, Spock comes to Iowa and he and Kirk make up.

If you can't find that one, kindly recommend good bonding fics? I love the bond, I've read several good ones like "Shine Like the Sun" and "Tangled Destines" (Kirk as a Betazoid was good, the empathic bond was awesome). Anything that really centers around them being bonded and possible difficulties with it (bond breaking, challanges to the bond, etc) would be welcome.

I dont remember much about this fic other than the fact that Spock unknowingly bonds with Kirk. Because tgey dont know about the bond, Spock feels a lot of pain. They share a room i think and there coupd be a scene in a restaurant. I really want to read this again!

Hi, i'm looking for a fic i read a long time ago unfortunately i can't remember much but i hope someone will be able to help me. However Jim and other Humans go to Vulcan to bond, while on Vulcan they meet with varoius Vulcans to detemine who is the best match for each one. While on Vulcan Jim meets Spock and fell in love with him but Spock is unavailable because he is ill and believes he is dying. Jim discovers that Spock is being poisoned by his governess T'Pring and saves Spock.

Nu! Movies, Academy, or TOS is fine. Slow builds for relationship and relationships that naturally develop. The longer the better, the plot-ier the better. (Switch would be a good example.)

like yeah they’re always talking about the genius and incredible intelligence of kirk and spock but bones is up there with them

first of all he’s the cmo of starfleet’s flagship like he has more authority than the fucking captain so you know he’s a hella good doctor

he is a master surgeon and is an expert in biology, psychology, xenobiology, and god knows what else, not to mention he’s spock’s doctor–spock who is the literal first of his species, Spock whose whole being is entirely unique–meaning that bones is making shit up while he goes when taking care of spock

not to mention how inventive he is?? remember when they were sent to that faux old west place to act out the OK corral and he made a fucking tranquilizer out of some snake venom and other shit and put it in a sort of bomb thing?? like that isn’t crazy resourceful and ingenious?

mccoy is a fucking genius he has so much knowledge up in that head of his idk how he sorts through it all.
