Looking for a Kirk/Spock STXI fic

hello everyone,
this is a little bit of a long shot, because i don't remember much, but i am looking for a specific fic belonging to the reboot timeline.

i think it was probably posted in 2009 (if not then 2010), and around october because i'm pretty sure it was written with halloween in mind. from what i can remember the fic takes place onboard the enterprise and they're having some kind of exhibition with alien art and artefacts. one of these artfacts has an influence on the mood of the room, or it changes them some how - i'm pretty sure the fic was written partly as a murder mystery/almost detective novel kind of way.

that's all i can remember but i'm also sure that there was a kirk/spock subplot (because that is mostly what i read), and that it featured some well written original characters. i have tried to google and look for it myself but have come up empty handed - if anyone can help i'd be so so so glad!

Christmas / Winter holiday/ New Years Trek Fic Recs, anyone?

It is almost December and I am looking for some good Christmas/Winter holiday fics. I thought perhaps we can exchange some good recs. I personally like Kirk/Spock, Kirk/Bones or K/S/B. Though GEN is fine as well. Any universe.

Trio vacation.

Hello, I read some time ago a fic in wich Kirk, Spock and McCoy went together to shore leave; It was in a nice, pacefull planet for once. I remember Kirk was very much stressed and McCoy wanted him and Spock to talk.

They rent a little cabin in a beach, go swimming, McCoy buys some earrings and a necklace for Joanna, Spock an animal figurine for his mother and Kirk something for his nephew Peter. At some point McCoy hurts his ankle in a walk and Spock goes to retrieve an aircar to take them home.

Kirk finally talks with Spock and McCoy. In the story they are featured eating and cooking together, swimming, relaxing, hyking, bantering... I even recall Spock cooking a peach pie that McCoy loved to bits (not that he told Spock that to his face). That's all I remember, but It was such a nice and relaxing fic, I'd really like to read It again! I'll be waiting, I know is no much information but really hope It rings a bell for someone. Thank you very much!

Looking for New Years fics

I'm looking for fics where New Years is the theme, preferably around the kiss at midnight after the count down.

Spock/Uhura, Kirk/Spock, Kirk/McCoy and Spock/McCoy recs are all fine. Thank You and have a happy New Year.

Also, any reason as to why st-ficfinder was deleted off dreamwidth.org? DW now allows community importing. All community content like profile, tags, entries and comments can be copied but only by a paid account. I can import the stuff from this comm to DW by having the mod from here, making me temporary mod here so I can do so over there, if they wish. Then I'll remove myself as mod.

Kirk/Spock AU

Okay, I read this fic a few months ago and forgot to bookmark it *headdesk*.

What I remember:
-It was Kirk/Spock.
-It was AU and I think Spock was a prince or something and Jim was a servant.
-There was a big forest that people weren't allowed to cut down for some reason and so McCoy had to walk a long way to get any wood. When Spock hears about this from Jim he decides to help in some way.
-For at least some part of it, it was winter and there was snow all over the place.

And that's about it...

Holiday mood

Hey all I'm somewhat in the holiday mood but don't see a tag for Christmas fics or if not Christmas other winter holiday. Does anyone know any good Christmas fics with the crew or just Jim and Spock....family fics would be a plus...thanx

I'm going to try and condense these all into one request so I don't make a bunch of posts.

1) I feel the need for holiday fic. Any holiday. Mostly Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, and Valentines Day. Pairing wise: Jim/Bones, Sulu/Chekov, Spock/Uhura, Scotty/Gailia or just Ensemble. Specifically, I would love to see how Jim and Bones spend Valentines Day. lol. I'll take any rating. Oh and AOS, please!

The rest of these I've never read into, so I would really appreciate a push in the right direction. :)

2) I'm looking for any recs (TOS or AOS) for mirror!verse fics. Any rating, any pairing, and gen highly sought after. Pairing wise I'm partial to Kirk/McCoy and Sulu/Chekov normally, but I'd love to read about any mix of characters. I'd love to read some Sulu/Uhura, because their chemistry was awesome in that TOS ep!

3) I'm also looking for any Reaper!Bones recs. I've finally given into finding that intriguing. I'm mostly interested in Reaper!Bones/Kirk, but as above I'll really take any pairing. Any rating and gen taken happily.

4) Lastly, I'm on the look out for Kirk/McCoy genderswap fics. Where one is changed into a girl via some mishap or alien intervention. I'd really love genderbent Kirk. I mean really. lol. Again, any rating, though the higher the better in this area. heh. AU's are good as well. And hell, maybe some always a girl fics, too.

I really appreciate any help that you can give me! Also, I had no idea what to tag this so I just chose some that seemed to fit. Feel free to change them!
