Hi All,

I'm looking for a fic I've read quite a long time ago. It went like this:

Jim thought that he and Spock were really good friends and was happy that they were getting closer and closer. While Spock, and indeed the whole Enteprise, thought that they were in a relationship. (Pretty much a cultural misunderstanding.) On the day Spock moved in with Jim - and Jim was even oblivious to this, even though the crew kept congratulating him and there was a plant involved (?), he accepted a proposal in a bar from some pretty face. Spock was devastated and the whole crew got incredibly defensive on his behalf and pretty much attacked (not literally) Jim. He finally realized what was going on and how blind he was and went about fixing things with Spock. I think the fic was on ksarchive, but I cannot seem to find it.

Does this ring any bells?

It is I again, asking difficult questions after years away :/

Looking for an old fic - not sure whether it was AOS or TOS, but I have a feeling it is the latter. Kirk and Spock are NOT in a relationship but they've been working together for years, and are as close as close can be. They have a thing where they introduce each other to cultural things once in a while, and this time Spock introduces Kirk to a vulcan delicacy which looks like small green cucumbers.

Cue seduction.

Then there's a problem because Spock feels embarrassed at his loss of control and Kirk shows him that everyone loses control during sex, and that it's perfectly normal and actually pretty hot. If I'm not mistaken, there's a moment where Kirk offers to leave if that's what Spock really wants, but Spock says no.

Desperately looking for this. Anyone?

Hello everyone! Mostly what it says on the label, I'm looking for a Reboot-verse Kirk/Spock story, that came out before ST:ID, about Kirk learning that Spock has suffered some sort of rejection at Christmas, though I don't remember if it was Uhura, Sarek, or New Vulcan Colony related, and seized upon the 12 days of Christmas as inspiration for showing Spock some appreciation. It goes from friends-to-lovers, as Kirk gets more invested with the gifts. Being on a star ship, Kirk isn't giving out livestock and folkloric dance, but rather gifts related to the symbolism behind the original 12 gifts. I would greatly appreciate any help that leads to the identity or location of this story. Happy holidays to all; live long and prosper.

Are there any fics where fem!Jim never went to Starfleet Academy but she still meets the others? And maybe a Kirk/Spock pairing? Another is, are there any fics where either Jim and/or Spock ran away from home (Spock due to the bullying and Jim for a reason) and when their families see them again, they're already together? or is that one just my wishful thinking again?

Looking for a fic called something like "A Question of Romance." Maybe on A03?

In it, Sarek somehow concludes he needs to be more romantic with Amanda, and enlists his staff and T'Pau in an inquiry into what this entails. Somehow, T'Pau ends up addicted to Human romance novels featuring lusty starship captains. Wish I could find that gem again!

Q. I saw this recommended a couple months ago in this group It is an AU academy fic from AO3(?). The main relationship is Spock/Jim. Jim Kirk is really apart of a mob/crime family and his name is not really Jim Kirk. He is enrolled for reasons at Star Fleet and attracts Spock's attention there. Jim meets all the members of his crew during his time there and would like to join them for real, but he is having trouble escaping his past. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Ok so i've recently stumbled across the Baseball series read by the fantastic SilverShadowKitsune only to find that the whole series has vanished from the net. At least as far as i can tell. The first four installments can be found on the audio archive but the last two are MIA. Would anyone happen to have a copy of the full six they'd be willing to share with me? It is almost December and I am looking for some good Christmas/Winter holiday fics. I thought perhaps we can exchange some good recs. I personally like Kirk/Spock, Kirk/Bones or K/S/B. Though GEN is fine as well. Any universe.

I have recently found that I just love Amanda/Sarek stories. I am looking for slow building stories that focus on the relantionship building and character exploration. I like stories where it doesn't seem like they will just get together from the start. there should be some learning about each other and conflit (but conflict that makes sense)

Also I like Smart! Amanda and difficult/annoyingly logical Sarek. The longer the FIC the better and complete, if possible. I love how "the native" has such strong background characters; I felt so invested in the whole cast and the world just came alive.

I recently found a fic I really like, see below "That's Why You Close Your Eyes". I was wondering if you lovely people know anything similar. I am looking for S/K/M Fics where they end up together in an equal relationship with hopefully a story where they all shine in their various ways while still causing headaches for each other yet the stories ends up happy.

If you have not see this fic, I can highly recommend it. You will start off desping Spock and Kirk for what they do, but the ahuthor has an amazing grasps on their characters. It is breathing taking how she pulls it off and never goes OC. Her Bones is just the best.

Ok, I am new here and really happy to have found this place. I am looking FICs that focus on the early building of Jim and Spock's relationship.

1) Relationship has rocky or unsure or antagonistic start but they learn over time how to relate and get along (and maybe that they love each other)
2) So I love slash Kirk/Spock but this is not a requirement--the friendship/pre-slash building is the important part
3) TOS or AU is fine
4) The longer the FIC the better
5) Slow builds own my soul

I just got done reading a Harry Potter one-shot and I'm wondering if there is anything like this in the Star Trek fandom. Basically I would love to see a fic where Jim changes things about himself because he thinks it is the only way to keep Spock with him or happy. All of the changes makes Jim miserable but he thinks it is worth it if Spock stay in a relationship with him. Hopefully with a happy ending of Spock finding out and setting things right.

Looking for a whole lot of Mckirk fics.

1. Bones is looking for his dr,'s coat which Jim took and finds out Jim is taking sexy pictures of himself for someone. He gets jealous but it turns out they were for him all along.

2. Virgin Kirk. Especially ones where Bones is trying to keep up with all the experience he thinks Jim has.

3. Jim is attacked telepathically and hallucinates his older other self taunting him. Bones eventuality goes into his mind to help him.

4. Star trek into Darkness fic focusing on Mckirk. Especially ones on Bones reaction to Jim's death.

5. Wooing. I don't care which one of them is doing the wooing.

6. Mckirk relationship fics where Jim is all freaked out about losing Bones because he doesn't know how to be in a relationship.

I was browsing though the kink meme and came across a fun AU story called 'Maxium Warp'. The prompt was that Kirk married a Romulan aristocrat warrior after the Romulans are the first who landed on Tarsus IV to rescue the survivors. The Commander of the ship falls in love with Kirk and there are Romulan courting customs and cultural misunderstandings. The author was 'Anonymous' and had posted 5 parts back in 2011 but nothing since. I was hoping that the author might have continued the story and just moved it off the kink meme. Does anyone know if this was continued somewhere? If you know of other similar themed stories I would love to hear of them. Thank you.

ok, so I'm looking for a fic where kirk is sent to an alternate universe where vulcans are seen as the enemy, and the alternate kirk is sent to the reboot universe.

So nu!kirk meets the spock of that universe and gets his ass handed to him, which in then, that spock freaks out because, oh crap, he hurt his th'yla.

Anyway, that spock proceeds to try and court kirk (beating up security and lining up their unconscious bodies in the hall outside kirks bedroom) and calls him 'Baby captain' or some shit like that.

In the nu!universe, that other kirk hogties that universes spock and then falls in love with future spock over vidcom, then proceeds to do the 2 person bed tango with spock.

So, help me find this hilarious fic plz? Would be forever grateful.

Set in the tos universe, Uhura gets transported to the mirrorverse and gets stuck there. In the fic Uhura is incredibly shy and virginal, Mirror!Spock takes an interest and slowly begins seducing her. In the fic Mirror!Spock overthrows Kirk and the various other men of the mirrorverse, with the goal of making the Empire a better place. Uhura becomes good friends with the mirror!women who are sick of their abusive relationships, and she also winds up pregnant. The final chapter deals with her debating whether or not to return to her normal universe.
There was also a sequel fic, dealing with Spock's attraction to the Mirror!Uhura. If anyone could help me find these two fics I'd be incredibly grateful.

Hello Star Trek fandom! It's been awhile! Therefore, I am looking for some stuff to get me back into Jim/Bones fanfic. Specifically, there is this one Tarsus fic I cannot find for the life of me and all I remember of it is Jim taking language lessons. Which, I realize, may describe MANY Tarsus fics...so send me all of them. :-D

Alternatively, any long, angsty (with happy endings) Jim&Bones centric (romantic or platonic) fics are welcome. I uh...went a little cray with the tags...but I figured instead of listing everything I like here I could just do it there. :)

I read it YEARS ago, it was a fic with Picard and a klingon...I can not remember his name, my brain keeps saying it was Kern but I have a strong feeling that is not right. But Picard challenged him by implying a klingon could not get through human courtship rituals. the klingon man took the challenge of course.

There is a scene where Picard lightly kisses his knuckles and then leaves, leaving the man standing with his hands out, and a klingon officer on the shit asks if something is wrong with his hands.

i remembers words used like copulation, courtship, and some scene with holding hands...

It was a silly, yet adorable fic. I am pretty sure it was standalone, and it ended in sex between them. It was pretty PG from what I remember
