I'm looking for a fic I read several years ago set in the present day where Spock accidentally lands his ship in Kirk's yard. Kirk has to keep him hidden from the authorities (and maybe at some point they go on the run together?). I just read another one very similar to this, but the story I'm looking for features Kirk taking a bit of time to really believe/come to terms with Spock being an alien. I think it was also ambiguously either reboot or TOS and had a...bizarre sex scene.

It is I again, asking difficult questions after years away :/

Looking for an old fic - not sure whether it was AOS or TOS, but I have a feeling it is the latter. Kirk and Spock are NOT in a relationship but they've been working together for years, and are as close as close can be. They have a thing where they introduce each other to cultural things once in a while, and this time Spock introduces Kirk to a vulcan delicacy which looks like small green cucumbers.

Cue seduction.

Then there's a problem because Spock feels embarrassed at his loss of control and Kirk shows him that everyone loses control during sex, and that it's perfectly normal and actually pretty hot. If I'm not mistaken, there's a moment where Kirk offers to leave if that's what Spock really wants, but Spock says no.

Desperately looking for this. Anyone?

I read a fluffy fic where Kirk is watching Spock groom himself like a cat like all Vulcans do. Jim can't directly watch Spock because Spock feels self-conscious about it or something but he sneakily watched it anyway as it is really cute. I think it was AOS and on AO3 but I could be wrong...

Any help would be appreciated!

Okay, this is not a fic I'd expect myself to be asking for help finding, but I think I'm missing some crucial tag or trope of something because I got nothing in my search for it.

Basically it was a Spock/Kirk meets Cheaper by the Dozen kid fic. They had a LOT of kids, I mean, a LOT. I think it was mostly one of those slice of life fics just focused on raising tons of kids. I remember that Kirk was older, and didn't want any more kids because he couldn't keep up. They had one daughter(?) that was a 'rebel' and they didn't know how to deal with.

The only other thing I can remember is that there was something about Kirk gardening and how that meant he was mad at Spock?

It was cracky, and hopefully someone else knows what it is.

FOUND: Dirty Laundry by noodleinabarral on AO3

Hey guys,

So my computer crashed the other day and I lost a couple fics that I hadn't saved. The one I am basically desperate to find again was a fic about Spock and Kirk adjusting to living together and Spock disliking how messy Kirk was.

Things I remember:
-Spock was always cleaning up because he hated crumbs and mess etc etc and was getting more and more annoyed by Kirk's messy habits.
-It came to a head right before Kirk left for something (conference?) and while Kirk's gone Spock realizes how much he misses having Kirk's mess around because not having Kirk's mess means Kirk's not around. And he gets sad.
-Kirk and Spock apologize when they see each other again because living together means making compromises and they haven't been

Things I'm not positive about:
-Old married spirk ala TOS
-K/S archive
-Ends with Spock bringing Kirk toast in bed?

If anyone knows what fic this is I'd be very grateful. Also if anyone has any similar stories about a couple/group moving in togeth and the trials of that I'd love to see them (any pairing/group is fine, I love them all)

Hey hi hello. Looking for a family/kidfic I read at some point in the past 6 months and lost. I've been through most of the kidfic tag on AO3 and there's no sign of it. The fic I'm looking for had a Vulcan or mostly Vulcan very young child (possibly Spock's by birth but maybe not). They key scene I remember was a parental bond forming between Kirk and the child, with the help of Spock. Possibly because Spock was already bonded to the child and therefore the child's sa-mekh, after this the kid called Kirk ko-mekh, because the new bond with Kirk had taken the place of the severed bond with the kid's birth mother. When Kirk found out the translation of Ko-Mekh, he was pretty embarrassed, but it all resolved itself quite happily. It was a very cute little scene, and I think it was part of a larger story, but don't quote me on that.

If nobody can find this, I'll also take any other recommendations where Kirk and Spock adopt a Vulcan kid, as it is my absolute favorite trope and I've read most of the really well-known ones on AO3.

It is almost December and I am looking for some good Christmas/Winter holiday fics. I thought perhaps we can exchange some good recs. I personally like Kirk/Spock, Kirk/Bones or K/S/B. Though GEN is fine as well. Any universe.

I have recently found that I just love Amanda/Sarek stories. I am looking for slow building stories that focus on the relantionship building and character exploration. I like stories where it doesn't seem like they will just get together from the start. there should be some learning about each other and conflit (but conflict that makes sense)

Also I like Smart! Amanda and difficult/annoyingly logical Sarek. The longer the FIC the better and complete, if possible. I love how "the native" has such strong background characters; I felt so invested in the whole cast and the world just came alive.

I just got done reading a Harry Potter one-shot and I'm wondering if there is anything like this in the Star Trek fandom. Basically I would love to see a fic where Jim changes things about himself because he thinks it is the only way to keep Spock with him or happy. All of the changes makes Jim miserable but he thinks it is worth it if Spock stay in a relationship with him. Hopefully with a happy ending of Spock finding out and setting things right.

I've been on a binge of K/S fics lately, that take place in AUs where Kirk and Spock meet as kids/teens and grow up either in a relationship or into one as they hit their early twenties. I'd love to read some more if anyone has recs:

Just general stuff like:

Jim lives with Spock's family as a kid.
As kids they meet and form a spontaneous bond and therefore cannot and will not be separated.
They meet as teens and there's an immediate attraction.
They attend the same school, or social events and form a relationship from there.
Arranged marriage-bonding.
They meet at the academy and immediately hook up/get married-bonded.
(Would prefer bottom!Kirk stories, though swapping who's the bottom fics are good too).

Any fics along those types of line really, happy with any length - from one-shot, to short, to long, to wholly cow, that's a novel length epic right there. If any one could rec some fics like this i'd be really grateful :)

There was a story, where Kirk and McCoy were an established couple, and decided to have a baby artificially. The use some machine that creates a womb, and they can look in and see the baby growing. As I recall, McCoy has doubts because the technology is very new, and something does go wrong, resulting in an early birth. The baby survives, and I remember a later scene when he's a little older and Joanna is there. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

1) Sulu/Chekov + Kirk
they're sharing a hallucination/dream/trance forced upon them by an alien race, whose only info on human begins comes from 1950s style sitcoms, which is what they put the three Starfleet officers into. So it was very stereotypical, nuclear family; Sulu was the father who worked 'in the city', and Chekov was the mum who stayed at home and baked pies (crossdressing, I think he was referred to with female pronouns as well, but nothing about his body was altered). Kirk was their son who appeared to be around seven y/o (I think). They had hallucination!friends who came over for BBQs on the weekends and stuff. It was all very angsty when the Enterprise saved them and they woke up. I think Sulu tried to avoid the other two, but Chekov still thought of Kirk as his baby and mothered him, and eventually the three of them came together again as a family. Anyway, I didn't bookmark it but it was really good and I'm craving it.

2) Sulu/Chekov, corporate au
Sulu was a CFO or shareholder/partner/owner of a large corporation merging or doing a deal with the company Chekov worked for. I think Chekov was an analyst? Anyway, they had sex in the offices before an important meeting. I think there were other parts to it too, it might have been a series. It was an ongoing affair, not a one-off. There were gratuitous 3-piece suits :D

I've searched for them both but I read them such a long time ago and I will offer much love to anyone who finds them or anything similar. I prefer Sulu to top most of (if not all of) the time. Thanks in advance!

Specific search: i'm missing a certain story where spock and kirk are sitting in like a seminar on vulcan and holding hands. just holding hands. everyone's giving them nasty looks and after its over jim asks spock why and he's like 'we were basically making out the whole time'

General Search: also, any recs where jim and spock (or even bones if you have them) are just hand-holding in public. i think its adorable. walking down the street holding hands looking at merchandise. nothing angsty, just kind of domestic hand-holding.

i do prefer reboot, but if its tos just don't tell me because i kind of giggle at the two of them being cute.

OH HAI!

So I read this wonderful fic a looong time ago and now I can't find it :P

It was Kirk/McCoy babyfic. Jim and Bones purchased some kind of artificial womb/incubator and were growing a baby in it. I distinctly remember the author using the phrase "like a string of pearls" to describe the developing fetus's spine. Also, I recall the baby boy being named Nicolas and meeting Bones's daughter in, like, the very last scene or something.

Hey, I'm looking for two things, they may or may not be part of the same answer.

atomicskull is no longer on LJ (as far as I can tell). Do you know where she may have archived her fic or how to get in touch with her? I admire her stories greatly.

Also, she may or may not written this one, but I'm looking for a McCoy/Kirk Fashion Magazine AU. Kirk's the Editor of Enterprise Magazine and Bones is a photographer who use to work for NYPD as a crime photographer. Spock is this awesome fashion director (I think...) who wears scarves and is in a long time relationship with BAMF Uhura who is a journalist. I forget about Scotty but Chekov and Sulu are fashion models who leave love notes in word puzzles (I think...) Jojo is part of the series too and ends up living with Jim and Bones. Gaila writes about the entire staff in this fake magazine story that is glorious. This series is amazing and has made me look at fashion in an entirely new light. I can't remember a name beyond City Lights????

Hey guys first time posting here so hope I'm doing everything correctly. If I've done something wrong please tell me and I'll fix it.

These could be either TOS or the Reboot.

1. I was looking for fics where Kirk isn't confident at all and his lover has to repeatedly assure him of just how amazing he really is, I know this has been done a lot so I'd prefer only the best and brightest of these fics please. Pairings that I'd like to see with these is Kirk/Spock, Kirk/McCoy, or Kirk/Spock/McCoy. I'm okay with some angst but no graphic torture please, and happy endings are a must.

2. The second type of fic that I'm looking for is one where due to a misunderstanding/low self esteem Kirk doesn't think that Spock could ever love him. I love misunderstanding fics, but the same rules as above apply. McCoy is welcome, but graphic torture is out and happy endings are a must.

Hi all.

1)Well, having just been asked out tonight, I would like some fics wherein Scotty asks Uhura out. You see, I am of the old school, and while there are those who find the fact that Uhura and Scotty suddenly got together in the whatever film it was mentioned in, I preferred it to the Spock/Uhura of the new film (I'm sorry, just no, I hate it... probably because I'm a slasher at heart). if you would like to rec fics where Kirk or Spock ask Bones out, I'd be all for that as well.

2)I would also like some fics where Uhura and Scotty have been together for a long time, but no one knows , and the two are actually quite domestic with each other, live together and stuff (well Chekov can know... and McCoy, because he would just know these things). No hardcore sex scenes or stories without some sort of plot. Maybe Scotty is takig Uhura home for the forst time, or better yet, Uhura taking him home. How they both keep a relationship working despite theirintense jobs, etc. etc.

3)McCoy... Just... McCoy. Preferably gen, or Spock/McCoy or Kirk/McCoy, no threesomes please. But I would prefer friendship fics for this request to be honest. stories that have a lot of bickering McCoy Spock moments, and are based planetside. i would like fics that are like the episode Miri, where McCoy does something stupidly bravejust because he thinks he should, or fics like the one where spock went into Ponfarr, only with a biger emphasis on McCoy obviously, or even fics like the one where they lost Kirk,only like Bones goes missing and it's about Kirk and Spock thinking on their friendship with him and what they'll do to get him back. Just something that's heavily mcCoy, and about their friendship.

4) is there a reboot fic out there that has McCoy either learning that he is going to suffer Xenopolycythemia, or actually suffering it. Maybe the sympton's show early because of exposure of a certai atmosphere, and then there's a race against time to find the astorid that the cure is on because Spock Prime has died or something...

There really aren't enough spock/bones fic out there, or if there is it's awful difficult to find.

bonding, vulcan telepathy way, like a marriage type thing. be it unplanned, planned, forced in order to protect the other. ones where bones has to meet spocks parents as his offical, mental or legal spouse. One's where bones is somewhat insecure in this bond (maybe something to do with mirrior spocks forced mind meld messed something up in their already active bond). I'd much prefer Bone's being the one getting hurt if something of that nature does happen (there just isn't enough hurt bones either), maybe he's been kidnapped and spock uses the bond to find him. jealousy over the thought that someone is trying to intrude on the bond, (mccoy as the jealous on is cute)

basiclly i'm looking for bonding fics, maybe domestic themed ones as well. Oh, and any where Bones is a latent empath or telepath (spock/bones only). oh, yes, bottom!bones preferred!

TOS only, because i've fallen in love with the original pair even more after watching more episodes.

I've read all the fics in fanfiction.net, spiced peaches, and the ones listen on this comm, not just for this sort of request, i mean pretty much every spock/mccoy fic), so basically i'm looking for stuff outside of these three places. a masterlist perhaps or something.
