My cat has been in the hospital for nearly 3 days and it is over a thousand bucks. So my phone is and many other things will be cut off. Before that happens I am asking for you lovely folks to recommend me some long fics I can save to my phone so I will have something to do until I can get things back in order. I'm looking for a fic I read several years ago set in the present day where Spock accidentally lands his ship in Kirk's yard. Kirk has to keep him hidden from the authorities (and maybe at some point they go on the run together?). I just read another one very similar to this, but the story I'm looking for features Kirk taking a bit of time to really believe/come to terms with Spock being an alien. I think it was also ambiguously either reboot or TOS and had a...bizarre sex scene.

A K/S Fic Remembered (Now I Gotta Find It!)

The story (TOS - don't remember if it was before or after TMP) involves a shore leave where one of the crew (can't remember if it was Bones - probably Bones by way of a no-name crewmember) tells Kirk he needs to go see this "show" (and to bring Spock). The show turns out to be based on the rumors of Kirk and Spock being lovers (with 23rd century porn stars playing the parts). The actors engage in some overly rough sex (some of which is faked for effect). The whole time watching this (from a private viewing booth) Kirk is getting increasingly uncomfortable - thinking how he's going to shut it down to protect Spock, how he wants to get Spock out of there - but is afraid to move & Spock doesn't move or say a word (but Kirk notices that Spock is very aroused). By the time it ends, Spock storms out in a rage, nearly injuring the "doorman" (who didn't realize it was a Vulcan under the cape/hood). Kirk follows and gets back to the Enterprise -- Kirk walks in on Spock who was about to kill himself (?) with a dagger. Kirk stops him with a phaser stun (lowest setting - Spock is still conscious and aware, he just can't move or speak for a while leaving Kirk the perfect opportunity to 'take action').

I also just remembered that in the end and they're happily together, a crewman sent by Kirk to get all copies of vids made of the show brings them back. Kirk suggests to Spock they keep one as a reminder of what brought them together. Spock tosses it saying reality is far better than the vid.

I remembered more stuff and darn it all, found what I was looking for. First, the story is "Fantasies" by Beverly Sutherland and it was in Nome 8 - here is a link to the full description of the story (from a summary of all the Nomes and their respective tables of contents).

Now, can anyone tell me where I can get a copy of this story by itself, Nome 8, or The Best of Nome #1?

A mission with wicked scientists

Hi,
I'm looking for a fic where the crew must transport scientists. A woman scientist is flirting with Kirk, but it's a trap. Her boyfriend (a scientist too) wants to sexually abuse Kirk by using a drug. Kirk, fortunately, is not raped.

Looking for a K/S fic

Hello!

I'm looking for an older fic - I remember reading it (online) when the Kelvin verse was just a twinkle in Abram's eyes. It was told primarily from Spock's point of view.

Kirk and Spock are on some kind of diplomatic mission on an alien planet, where the inhabitants are telepathic. Spock loves Kirk but doesn't want anyone to know it (especially Kirk!), and spends the whole time trying hard to shield his mind. One of the inhabitants, a male, is sweet on Kirk.

There's a climactic scene where Spock finally gives up trying to shield his love at the same time that the male inhabitant tries to meld with Kirk without his permission, which injures Kirk mentally and finally brings about Spock's confession and they're coming together (cuz of course Kirk secretly loved him the whole time).

STID fics with injured Spock request

Hi all,
I'm looking for any fics set during/after Star Trek Into Darkness that deal with the injuries Spock must have had after Khan tries to crush his skull. I'm looking for fics that deal with Bones discover and treating the injuries. Particularly a sucker for any fics that mention head/skull injuries specifically.
On a related request, I would love recs for any fics, AOS or original verse, where Bones has to perform surgery on Spock, particularly where it's a complicated procedure.

Pining Mcspirk Fic Recs (?)

I just love the Triumvirate as a whole and want to see them happy...But the masochistic part of me enjoys reading about the pain before the pleasure I guess.

I'm looking for any good endgame-Mcspirk fics in which two of them are together (or supposedly together, or are getting together) while the third pines from afar (or from a-near, I'm not picky on that front). Maybe the third is encouraging the two to get together? Maybe the established pair are actually also pining for their third to join them?? Maybe Mcspirk is already established but one (or more) of them starts feeling insecure???

I would love to read more pining!Kirk (please please please), since pining!Bones is already my jam (like jfc). And I can't say I've read any pining!Spock with McKirk (godddd) happening yet, but it's probably (hopefully) only a matter of time.

I've read some Mcspirk of the pining variety before, but only a few on AO3. Please help expand my search there, and across LJ/FFN. I'd really appreciate it.

Lookinf for TOS K/S Pon Farr fic

I'm looking for a story from TOS where Kirk and Spock are bonded and Spock has to leave for a bit to a space station. Another Vulcan asks Kirk to deliver something for him to the station where Spock is. When Kirk arrives, he goes to his room without greeting Spock and in the middle of the night Spock, who has gone into Pon Farr is drawn to him through the bond. He even knocks down another Vulcan. Then something goes wrong on the station that only Spock can fix an the other Vulcans who think they can't ask him since he's in Pon Farr are surprised to see him eating with Kirk. He fixes it, although he has to keep Kirk next to him to occasionally have sex. A Vulcan woman asks Kirk about his Pon Farr experience, since he seems happy about it, and he tells her to be accepting instead of just enduring.
I even remember quotes from it like "in the family all is silence" but google still won't help me. So I appreciate any help you can give, thanks.

“Hurt-comfort” fanfic story where Kollos’s box dissolved a bit early, Kirk went mad, and Spock had to tend to him.

I wonder if anyone knows what this can be?

Or if you know any other fics where Spock has to take care of injured Kirk, set in TOS/TOS movies verse, I'll appreciate too.

Hi!

I've read a lot of fic where Jim and Spock raise a Vulcan kid (either Spock's or adopted) and the kid quickly develops a familial bond with/are most interested in spending time with Jim while Spock have to work a bit to reach the same status.

Now I'm wondering if anyone knows of any fic where a kid belonging in some way to Spock/Jim (or Spock/Bones), human/Vulcan/otherwise favours Spock right away?
(If you have any recs of de-aged Jim preferring Spock's company I'll be happy to read those too!)

Hi! I seem to have little luck with my searches, but one more try :)

There are a lot of instances in TOS when Spock goes behind Kirk's back. S I wonder are there any fics dealing with issues of trust between Kirk and Spock? Where Spock's mutiny in Menagerie is not ok, altering Kirk's mind after Rayna is not ok, consealing information about Sybok or Spock's parents is not regarded as ok. Or forcing Kirk to talk peace with people who were always enemy and killed his only child is not ok and not brushed aside because it's Spock and everyone loves him and he can do no wrong. I seem to remember about 2 and a half fics like that and none about the 6th movie.

I'm looking for some angsty K/S fics set arter movies 3-4. Like Kirk dealing with the loss of his son and his hip (it seems like this always gets brushed aside). Or they were bonded before and Spock's death destroyed a bond and Kirk is suffering from consequences. I'm in the mood for lots of hurt/comfort.

And as a separate question - are there any fics where David somehow survives?

looking for an old lost k/s fic

Hello friends,

It is I again, asking difficult questions after years away :/

Looking for an old fic - not sure whether it was AOS or TOS, but I have a feeling it is the latter. Kirk and Spock are NOT in a relationship but they've been working together for years, and are as close as close can be. They have a thing where they introduce each other to cultural things once in a while, and this time Spock introduces Kirk to a vulcan delicacy which looks like small green cucumbers.

Cue seduction.

Then there's a problem because Spock feels embarrassed at his loss of control and Kirk shows him that everyone loses control during sex, and that it's perfectly normal and actually pretty hot. If I'm not mistaken, there's a moment where Kirk offers to leave if that's what Spock really wants, but Spock says no.

Desperately looking for this. Anyone?

Kirk & Spock are not in a relationship and are staying in a hotel. Kirk walks in on Spock and his lover OMG! Later, Spocks lover challenges kirk to fight for spock. 1. Are there any fics out there centered on episode "Menagerie"? Especially aftermath of it, and if it's about Kirk and Spock settling trust issues, that would be just great!

2. Also entirely unrelated, but I can't get one scene out of my head. It was most probably a gen fic, and the scene goes with Spock telling Kirk off along those lines: "You are the captain, you can risk yourself however you want despite my advice, you are not obliged to listen to me and my duty as First Officer is to stand by and watch you take the risk, nothing more. The honor is to serve" (this last phrase was definitely in). And Kirk replying that it was the worst dressing down he's got since whatever. Can't rememeber the fic for the life of me and it is driving me crazy...

Hi! I wonder if there are any fics about Kirk's service on the Farragut. I'd love to read something about cloud vampire adventure, or how Kirk got promoted, how he received the title of Captain - anything before he came to Enterprise.

And unrelated - are there any good AUs with arranged marriage between Kirk and Spock?

Vulcan Males instinctively hate one another?

Hey everyone. I remember reading a fic (although I can't remember where...) where Sarek was having difficulties since Vulcan males within families have no affection for one another and Sarek feels uncomfortable with Spock's presence and assumes Spock feels the same.

I'm pretty sure later on though Sarek realises that Spock's hybrid nature spared him the innate hatred and so Sarek had been a dick to Spock whilst Spock genuinely loves Sarek (to Sarek's surprise.)

Anyone remember reading something like this? I can't remember whether it was TOS or reboot, probably was a hybrid of both.
