DS9-era fic

startrekficfinderI read this one literally years ago, and I've tried my best to find it, to no avail. This was before I was on lj, and I don't remember the title, and from what I can tell ST fics tend to go 'poof' disconcertingly easily. Anyway. Maybe, miracle of miracles, someone can find this one.
It was a Star Trek fic, set probably during DS9, but the main characters were OCs. It was amazingly good. The main character is a female human smuggler who was captured and tortured by Cardassians (I want to say she was smuggling something into the demilitarized zone, but I can't remember). I do remember that one of the Cardassians had ripped out her fingernails during the torture to get her to talk. She and one of her captors get trapped on a planet together, and try to outwit one another. The story was well-written and gripping, and IIRC had at least two chapters. If anyone can find this one, I'll owe you free oral sex for life (or at least some squeeing and cyberhugs).
