I'm looking for fics of a Kirk and Spock nature that have to deal with consequences. I was wondering if there are any angsty fics out there where starfleet finds out about the boys either through rumors or facts and 'deals' with the them. Maybe by trying to split them up or something because they don't approve. It would be even funnier if the rumors of them being together where untrue.

I prefer slash and I'll take gen, but please no het. I would also prefer a happy ending with Kirk and Spock together. Every wonder what it would take to make them retire from Starfleet? What would they do after?

Hi! I'm on the hunt for a fic that I can't remember author or title of, and I'm not even sure how old it was, but I do remember that it was TOS. I think the entire story revolved around the idea that Kirk and Spock have a shared bathroom and how having shared space causes them to grow closer over the course of their mission.

The specific scene that stuck with me was one where Spock hears Kirk having sex in the bathroom, and Kirk actually encourages him to be voyeuristic. Spock is disturbed by it, but he's called away to see Dr. Janice Lester and the reader realizes it isn't really Kirk, even though it's never explicitly stated in the text. It was a long one-shot, very well-written and ended up with a K/S pairing.
