SEEKING where 'LOGICAL" means "DO ME"

OK, once again, reading fic reminds me of other fic, which I then can't find because the bit that came to mind was so tiny. SIGH. Major points of recall as follows:
- A "Pike adopts Jim" story, probably, or at least they seem closer in the author's re-telling of the movie; the scene I remember begins with Jim visiting Pike in sickbay, and getting treated by Bones for being in close proximity.
- Bones sets up a running commentary on the events following Pike's capture; he explains that Spock has been frequently declaring Jim's "logic is sound", and further speculates this may just be Vulcan for "You are logical. Take me now.".
- Pike and Jim have a touching sort of father/son moment when Bones has them both heavily hypo'd; I want to call it Pike giving his blessing on Jim pursuing Spock (in the strictly professional "we do good work, lets serve together, our friendship is epic across the known universe[s]"), which may or may not lead to the conclusion that, yes, "logical" does mean "do me. now."
