 A while back I read this really funny Sulu/Chekov AU fic where they (most of the crew of the Enterprise) were criminals in prison. Sulu was Chekov's cellmate. Jim was some crazy guy that kept getting into fights with people, and most of the other prisoners where afraid of Spock.

I also remember that Chekov pretended (for a while) not to understand English. Sulu felt sorry for him, since he was so young. I think the reason Chekov was in prison was because he hacked the government's secrets. 

Eventually they escaped with several of the other prisoners, like Kirk and Spock and Uhura. I don't recall how, though. :/

AOS, Kirk/McCoy 'Blind Dating' AU

I was reading a fic a bit back and, as it goes, my laptop crashed. So I'm hoping you can help me!

It was a Kirk/McCoy AU that was loosely set around the premise of Blind Dating (the CPine movie). In it Bones' vision slowly deteriorates until he's completely blind. He's working at a clinic when he meets Jim, who continually comes in beaten and bloody. Jim keeps hanging around and letting Bones diagnose him even though Bones is a bitchy and snarky bastard. They eventually get together. Other random bits I remember: Bones went to med school but didn't get to finish and Jim is a genius but doesn't do much with it. Jim's family loves Bones. And Bones only gets to visit his daughter once a year.

I never got to read the last two chapters so I have no idea how it ends! Help?

And I'm sorry if I spam in the next few days. I have a couple other things that I'm looking for. :)
