Inspired by the Kink meme

I was re-reading some stuff on the Kink meme, but have lost a particular story that I thought was quite good. It doesn't seem to be under any of the tags I'd thought it was.

Basically it was based after the new film, when everyone returned to earth, I'm fairly certian it was Kirk/Mccoy. Now, I may be confusing this bit with another fic I was reading around the same time, but basically it was the whole hero shebang for Kirk and what he did etc. etc, but McCoy doesn't really share in the limelight. I think there was something about a disiplinary hearing for him. I think it was someone higher up looking to shift blame on someone else and McCoy just happened to be the one to bear the brunt of it. I also recall a whole scene about reporters trying to get pictures of everyone and to hear their story and the like. McCoy punched an admiral (which may have been where the whole displinary hearing thing started).

Also, can anyone rec some good fics (OS or reboot), that have an empahsis on McCoy's compassion. Or fics that read much like an episode. doesn't have to be slash, but if it is, McCoy/Spock or McCoy/Kirk. No mirror verse and no threesomes.

And lastly, it might just be me, but I've always imagined McCoy to be a lot like Spocks mum. (it must be the slasher in me), so are there any fics where Spocks mother and Mccoy have a good long chat with each other, or spock and his father talk about the mysteries of loving humans as emotionally confusing as their own etc. etc.

Looking for fics with kirk and hoshi sato

I am wondering if there are fics where Kirk knew Hoshi Sato, from Enterprise. They were both on Tarsus IV. I prefer reboot but would love whatever you know of. I have been recently watching Enterprise and wanting this. :) Thanks so much!
