I'm looking for a story where Bones' ex-wife is a real b***h, and won't let him see Joanna. Years go by, and Pike or Jim eventually helps Bones see his little girl again. Anyone?

I am putting up previous unanswered requests from other users in the hope someone new might know what they are.
1.
The story's reboot Kirk/Spock, pre-slash at the start and slash by the end. Kirk is pining after Spock, and the mental stress of hiding that plus other stuff coming down puts him into depression leading to an old tendency of Kirk's towards suicidal idealization. The main thing about this story which really stuck with me was a scene where while waiting to meet with Pike, Jim's suicidal thinking crystallizes into actual intent to do a 50-foot swan dive out the window, but he's caught by Spock and McCoy before he can actually act on it. After the big blowout Spock gets Kirk to confess the root cause behind his current problem and they get together. Memory's a LOT fuzzy, but that was about what I can remember. I think it's on LJ, but cannot be certain.

2. can't seem to find a story I read, that had Kirk and McCoy break up (McCoy doesn't think their relationship is going anywhere, so he breaks up with Jim and starts dating Nurse Chapel). Jim acts like he's ok, but on the inside he's crying, Sulu notices this and becomes like Kirk's BBF (I don't remember whether it was strictly friendship or slash). After a while he has a showdown with McCoy on the bridge and tells him that Kirk's hurting, McCoy then goes to talk with Jim.
That was as far as I got into the story, anyone know it? *Found but story is unfinished*
