The sad thing is, I know this is probably a popular/well known story. That's the annoying thing. I just can't seem to find it...

Nu!Kirk is on a planet (Delta Vega, I think...possibly) and at the same time TOS!Kirk is in the same place in his universe. Of course there's an ion storm or something and a lightning strike and then they switch places. TOS!Kirk is freaked out that he's only 25 and already *Captain* and how informal everybody is. He eventually tells Spock and they work on finding a way to send him back to his time. There's also a great scene on the Bridge toward the end where they hail the ship TOS!Kirk is really from and everybody on Nu!Enterprise is like "WTF??? He's not our Captain and you didn't tell us?!?!?!" and Nu!Kirk is all "He's in my chair." The end of the fic is TOS!Kirk on a starbase where he randomly meets his universe's Spock and they converse for a moment before Number One comes around...

So. Please tell me how blind and clueless I am. You are all amazing. Thanks!
