A sharper universe

So howdy everyone!

So the fic that I seem to have lost is kind of a different one. I remember that everyone(main characters) is still working under Captain Kirk, but they were--space pirates? Maybe?

I seem to recall Uhura being in a relationship with Gailia. And everyone in this universe was harder and sharper then they are in cannon uni's. For whatever reason I remember Uhura's history the best, she went in to start fleet, which is allianced with the Orion's and is raped? or perhaps just molested? But when she reports what happened to her nothing is done about it.

Chekov is also like a teenage space bum, going from ship to ship trying to make his way across the galaxy for reasons I can't remember.
