Reboot - Mind Meld

Looking specifically for good stories which deal with the aftermath of the mind meld between Spock Prime and young Kirk in the 2009 movie.  I know I've read one or two in the past but cannot remember titles or authors.  Any suggestions?  In particular I have a vague memory of a story set shortly after the events of the reboot movie - possibly even as the crippled Enterprise makes its way back to earth wherein Kirk is struggling with the memories stuck in his mind after the meld on Delta Vega and Spock Prime and/or the younger Spock must help rid him of those memories.  Does that sound familiar to anyone?

I've been looking for a fic where Spock is trying out a relationship with Uhura and wants some practice with dating. He was recommended Kirk by Gary. However, Kirk thought Spock was actually interested in him and was heart broken when he realized the truth. And so on.

Would greatly appreciate it if someone would like me to the fic.

Sarek raises Jim after Tarsus fic search

HI,
I'm looking for any fics where Jim somehow ends up meeting Spock, Sarek, or Amanda during/on/after Tarsus IV, like Spock or Sarek was on Tarsus, or Amanda helped with the relief efforts or something. If the fic results in Jim being raised by Sarek and Amanda, I would be ecstatic.
On that note, I'm seeking any fics where Jim is raised by Sarek and Amanda, ends up in their custody, becomes part of their family-I'd especially love any and all fics that show a father/son dynamic between Jim and Sarek. Jim is so broken and fatherless, and Sarek is such an amazing father in the nuTrek verse especially, that I'm craving this like crazy : )
