Two Fics with Uhura

I'm looking for two fics.

1.The story (one shot?) is from Uhura's POV.  While she was waiting for Spock to speak, she noted that she was watching for his inner eyelids to blink, which was a reminder of his being alien. Later she thought as he looked at her that he wanted more from her, perhaps her soul.

2. High School/ Teen AU. Spock and Uhura are neighbors and best friends maybe, I think the fic starts with the two of them on his bed, Nyota with her shoes on. They talk about her sister and a dance and she asks who he's taking. She tells him she's going with Sulu. Uhura and Sulu begin dating and Spock doesn't understand why he's in a foul mood about it. McCoy or Kirk advise him. Chekov is also distraught about the pairing. The couples (Spock/Uhura, Chekov/Sulu) come together at the dance somehow, outside or something like that.

I appreciate any help I can get.  Perhaps they are on LJ, as googling has not helped me.
