Kirk/Spock - Kirk on a sailing ship?

Don't remember much, but I think Kirk and Spock have a falling out. Somehow Kirk ends up on a sailing ship on some planet and Spock "hears" him telepathically when he gets in trouble. Kirk's fine, but Spock comes and finds him. Kirk has a lot of scars, I think. Thanks for any help! ~Finn
