Hi

I'm looking for a fic where, as a last chance before being kicked out for multiple infractions, Jim Kirk teaches a course (something to do with terraforming and/or colonisation, I think)

Lots of cadets sign up because they think it will be a breeze with the infamous Jim Kirk teaching. After a couple of lessons where no one takes him seriously Jim, who was already doing his best to teach,  is determined to prove everyone wrong.

Spock sits in on his lessons and grows fascinated. I think it ends up K/S.

Other details include; ostracization by the students, Jim wearing half black and half red and Jim tricking the teachers into thinking he's up to something to get them to show up for the presentation of his class's final assignments.
