overthemoon1.livejournal.comI am looking for 2 FICs that have Kirk and Spock. Neither are A03.
1) AOS Kirk and Spock on the Enterprise and already bonded. They have been bonded for a while but there is kind of an imbalance in the bond. Kirk is always the dominate one both in terms of their jobs and relationship. Spock is having trouble being always submissive in the relationship and is kinda looking to strike a balance. Spock decides to use an old Vulcan ceremony to attempt to resolve matters. It is a tea ceremony to demonstrate trust. It hails back to a famed pair of male Vulcan lovers who were the leader and his second of a tribe. The second would serve tea to his leader/lover who would drink it without a taster to demonstrate the trust and let the tea lull him into a state of helplessness to balance out their relationship. Spock uses this with Kirk and kirk agrees. things ensue from there.
2) Mirror ! verse with fluffy spin first time. Mirror! Spock decides to give his captain a gift. He knows that Kirk wanted him but Spock had refused him in the past. Mirror! Kirk has a rep for being rough, so Spock takes a drug to numb his nerve endings to not be harmed. Kirk cannot believe that Spock is just offering himself up. However, Kirk realizes that if Spock just gives himself then he will have power over him. So Kirk decides to play nice and make it good for Spock, so he will want to come back and have more. Spock is surprised by his behavior but can't really respond because his nerves are deadened. Kirk ends up waiting for the drug to ware off in Spock's arms and we learn that deep down Kirk just wants to feel safe enough to be held.
