Looking For A Specific Amnesia Fic - Found!

I'm looking for a fic that I'm sure I read on the author's web page - I'm pretty sure it wasn't a livejournal page. It's multi chapter, at least ten, less than twenty.
I want to say it's post ST 2009, but thinking about it, I can't even be certain it wasn't TOS, although I didn't read it as such.

Spock & Kirk are in captivity on a planet, being interrogated about - ? I'm not sure what. Their captors resort to forcing Kirk to swallow an insect that interferes with memory, hoping to force him to tell the truth - probably why I think it's ST XI, similarity to the Centuarian slug. It causes him to have amnesia, and each time he awakes in the cell, Spock tells him again what his name is, who he is etc.

They manage to stage an escape during one interrogation - Kirk is fairly unwell, but they manage to make it to a deserted house in a desert area & hide out there for a day or two. This is where they have sex for the first (& maybe only) time.

They continue on towards - ?the rendezvous point? I think. As they travel across the desert, Kirk has fun questioning Spock about quite a few things, including their (supposed) sex life.
Kirk has another instance (or maybe more than one) of awakening with no memory of events & puts them in danger of capture because of this.

As they near their destination, they're forced into walking through the night, despite the frigid desert temperature, and Spock develops hypothermia - they finally reach a town and hide out with a family, but Spock is so cold at that point he can barely walk and isn't really coherent. I remember the scene where the homeowners & Kirk place him in a bath to help warm him up.

After he recovers, they continue towards what must be the rendezvous point inside the town - they almost make it but are involved in a battle with - ?the rebels? ?the authorities? - just before they get there. They finally manage to reach the beam up point, but Spock is shot (I think with a bullet) literally as they beam up.

Once in sickbay, Kirk's memories don't return any further - after several days of no progress, he finally bugs Spock to perform a meld - the chance of success is low compared to the risk and Spock is reluctant. However, it's successful.

Kirk has convinced himself by now that he & Spock are lovers, and only when his memories return after the meld does he truly discover they're only friends - he's REALLY disappointed!
I assume they go on to become lovers, but I can't actually remember the end.

I've read it a few times between the middle of last year & the middle of this year, but I must've deleted the bookmark. I don't think the author had any other fics on her page - or she had a link to others but it's broken, maybe? There was some reason I couldn't access her other fics, anyway.

Does anybody recognise this?
