Academy AU, Andorian Opera, Spock/Kirk

I only remember one very specific scene from this story. From context I assume it is some sort of Academy AU or an AU where Spock is still first officer but Jim is of a lower rank (maybe he didn't chose command trackt at the Acadamy). They are either on earth or on a planet on shore leave. Jim and Spock are not in a relationship or even really friends as Spock is either Jim's instructor or superior officer.

Jim walks by a concert hall and sees that they are playing an Andorian opera. He would love to see it (maybe a former nanny of his was Andorian?) but can't get a ticket on such short notice. He hangs around the entrance and meets Spock who happens to have a spare ticket because Uhura couldn't make it. The opera is very good and Jim loves it. He also impresses Spock with his knowledge of the Andorian language. Does anyone know which story this is from? I think it's probably only a short scene in a much longer story or series, but I can't remember anything else from it.

FOUND! On further reflection I realized that Kirk is a science officer in this and from there it was easy to google. The scene I remember is from the first part of rabidchild67's Science Officer Kirk AU.
