1. Well, I've read a drabble recently where Bones gets into argument with Jim about ethical side of things and slaps Jim in the face, Jim has him confined for it and then it turns out Jim did the right thing and Bones was wrong.

That just got stuck in my head and I want more stories like it. About someone (preferably Bones but whatever) questioning Jim or his orders, and then having a hell of a guilt trip over it when faced with a proof that Jim was right all along. Or when Jim is forced to use disciplinary measures or something along these lines, in short - command situations and test of relationships.
I remember a fic called "Fortune's Favoured Child", that's a type of story I'm after.

Gen or slash is ok, but only TOS universe.

2. Also I'll be grateful for any TOS story that focuses on Jim's role as a captain, making decisions, leading rescue missions and stuff. Again, gen and slash are ok.
