1. Are there any fics out there centered on episode "Menagerie"? Especially aftermath of it, and if it's about Kirk and Spock settling trust issues, that would be just great!

2. Also entirely unrelated, but I can't get one scene out of my head. It was most probably a gen fic, and the scene goes with Spock telling Kirk off along those lines: "You are the captain, you can risk yourself however you want despite my advice, you are not obliged to listen to me and my duty as First Officer is to stand by and watch you take the risk, nothing more. The honor is to serve" (this last phrase was definitely in). And Kirk replying that it was the worst dressing down he's got since whatever. Can't rememeber the fic for the life of me and it is driving me crazy...

I'm looking for a fic where Jim and Bones are together and go on an away mission to a planet and the aliens think their family isn't complete and the combine their DNA to make a baby for them. They decide to name her Joanna. That's all I remember about it. Hope someone out there can find it.
