Time travel

I'm looking for a fic...its gen if I remember correctly. Some how Jim and Spock who are on a shuttle end up back in time on Vulcan and they crash in the dessert. Jim is injured or gets sick and Spock has to figure out how to get them back to save Jim's life and not disturb the time line. Spock finds himself reverting to ancient Vulcan behavior becoming more warrior like and less logical( not pon Farr). Meanwhile back on the ship Bones and Scotty figure something has gone very wrong cause the shuttle has disappeared. A little kid finds them and helps Spock.
That's about all I remember.
