Okay, I have, literally, 200+ new!Trek Reboot XI 2009 bookmarks, of stories, vids, images, anything that I like that crops up on LJ. I've gone through them over the past couple days, but I still can't find the story where Kirk is arguing with Spock, and trying to get him to understand that, yeah, the looks are great, but I'm more than just a pretty face; Kirk specifically says, "and I know six more [languages], just because they were all after 2PM and I like afternoon classes".

I will be eternally grateful if anyone can point me to the origin of this line, because I know from past experience that it will bug me until I read it in context again. I also offer up loads of thanks for recs for any stories that point out the genius level of the n!TRXI09 bridge crew like that.
