Looking for a fic with pining!Kirk crossing into a parallel universe (Kirk/Spock)

Hi!

I'm looking for a pining!Kirk story. Here is what I think I remember:

It (probably) takes place after Vulcan was destroyed (after the 2009 movie). Jim is in love with Spock, who doesn't return his feelings leaves him before their bonding (I think he was rather dismissive/cold with Jim). Jim has access to some kind of portal that allows him to cross into a parallel universe in which alternate!Spock was bonded to/in a relationship with alternate!Jim, who died recently. Jim crosses to this alternate universe and asks alternate!Spock to give him a chance, even if they're not exactly each other's first choice. Alternate!Spock agrees and Jim stays in that universe with him. Later, Spock from the "original" universe more or less changes his mind about his feelings for Jim, but learns Jim left for good.
I think the access to the portal was a gift to Jim from an alien race, because Jim had helped them.

It's not much and I didn't have any luck with Google and various keywords, because most of the results point me in the direction of mirror!verse fics. And the fic I'm looking for wasn't in that verse.
Also, I'm 95% sure the fic was on A03 (but no luck with the tags there either).

I hope someone knows the title and/or the author of this fic.
