Star Trek Fic Finder

Mmm, this is my kind of search! I too adore McCoy. He's my absolute fave! :D

Here are a few of my favorite stories:

*Switch (http://archiveofourown.org/series/6786) by ceres_libera. This is without a doubt one of the best McCoy-centric stories on the web. It's got lots of what you're looking for and it's just... beautiful. I honestly can't say enough good things about this story. :D

*Devil Went Down To Georgia (http://archiveofourown.org/series/5224") by suddenlyswept is another brilliant Kirk/McCoy story with lots of delicious angstiness as McCoy simultaneously deals with his budding feelings for Jim and the crumbling of his marriage with Jocelyn. Such a lovely fic, and super hot to boot. :D

*Two Men and A Motorbike (http://archiveofourown.org/series/20177) by inell. This is the fic that turned my passing fascination with McCoy into a raging inferno of love, lol. :D Brilliantly written, wonderful pacing, definitely worth a read.

*Postal Service (http://archiveofourown.org/series/39264) by soloproject (http://archiveofourown.org/users/soloproject/pseuds/soloproject). Not exactly angsty or hurt/comfort, but it's a fun read nontheless. :D

*Walk Visible Under The Sun (http://weepingnaiad.livejournal.com/118436.html) by weepingnaida. This is a x-over style fic in which Jim meets Eomer, Karl Urban's character from the Lord of the Rings series - but there's lots of Bones goodness in there too! There's some fantastic angst, fantastic sexy!times, and a heaping of gorgeous writing.


Now that's just scratching the surface of McCoy goodness. Along with the folks listed above, I'd suggest checking out the McCoy fics by these wonderful people as well (in no particular order):


abigail89, sullacat, rubynye, caitri, sangueuk, emiliglia, gadgetorious, shinychimera, canis_takahari, lindmere, cards_slash, yeomanrand, hitlikehammers, withthepilot, norfolkdumpling, writer_klmeri, zauzat, spikeface... I know I'm leaving out a ton of brilliant writers, but these are the ones that immediately popped to mind.

And then there's comms like jim_and_bones, buckleup_meme, mccoy_and_kirk, bottom_mccoy that you might want to check out. jim_and_bones is members only, but I can't imagine they'd turn a fellow Bones lover away. They're good folks. :D
