One of my favorite ff.net stories for Star Trek and Bones is a McCoy/Chapel fic. Ironically enough, I could really give or take this pairing. It's better than most of the OC!Mary Sues and slash that's out there. I can definitely picture Karl in the pair, but with no new Chapel, I have a hard time with the rest.

Until we actually get Chapel, or a defined romance for Bones, I'm going to ship him with Tonia Barrows (The yeoman from 'Shore Leave, whom he marries later in the books), Chapel, and of course - myself, in my dreams!

If he does hook up with Chapel, I wouldn't mind it at all, but if he hooks up with someone else and I like it, I'm going to have her hook up with Pike. I don't really know completely why, but I think they would be good together.
