LF episode-related City on the Edge of Forever

I just finished reading through Observtions (which is an incredible epic-long Spock POV, btw), and the parts corresponding to COTEOF just brought me to tears. So I was wondering if where I could find some other fics that deal with that episode, maybe even an AU where Kirk & Spock fail to correct the timeline and are stuck in the past...?

Gen or K/S is preferred, but I'm fine with other pairings as long as the story is good. All ratings, too.

It might help, idk. I know that in the back of my head I was thinking of mentioning that I have a fic idea based on that episode that I probably won't write till after the holidays because it's very dark, very slashy, and very disturbing. Watch out for it sometime in January if that appeals!

. . . but the Star Trek novel 'Crucible: McCoy' (by David R. George III) shows both histories - the one where K and S come back to get him and the one where they don't. It's gripping and . . . well, just fucking incredible (as are the other 2 in the trilogy, btw).
