Jim has a strange internal clock

Hi. I'm looking for the story in which Jim's circadian rhythms are very different from normal human ones, so that once he's Captain of the Enterprise he starts keeping much longer days than he did at SFA. As a result, he may also have taken on unusual shift assignments since he's already up and doesn't need much sleep.

I don't recall if it's gen, Kirk/McCoy, or Spock related, but it should be one of those three.

Well, the only one I can think of that mentions Kirk's circadium rhythm is jAnon's 'Observations' (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5329445/1/Observations), which is K/S -- and if it isn't the one you're looking for, it's still awesome.
