Heyla All,

I'm trying to find what I think are two Pon Farr fics. Unless I've mixed up multiple ones.

Fic 1: Pon Farr is different than the norm. It's very sweet, emotional, and tender in this story. Spock's whole focus is on the satisfaction of his mate. I think the bulk of the sexy action happened under a tree? And that Jim was in a kinda flimsy outfit?

Fic 2: Spock and Jim have been seperated due to work. Jim takes a shuttle to where Spock is to deliver a missive to Sarek I think. Spock is in Pon Farr. And wherever it is they are is in danger of a technical problem they need Spock's help to fix. Because Jim came to him willingly, Spock is able to function outside the Pon Farr.

The first sounds vaguely familiar, but isn't ringing any bells at the moment.

it's not the one I remember but I love it. It's sooooo sweet and adorable and sexy!

The one I remember had them outside under a tree. And maybe the clothing Jim wore was really flimsy. Not too sure about that last part.

Here's pon farr under a tree (http://kagedtiger.livejournal.com/3954.html). It seems sweet, emotional and tender...but that might be b/c the actual sex isn't described until a later fic (Out of Time) in the series, which is the kagedtiger's Time Verse.

The first one could also be part of Corpus Invictus' The ending has not yet been written (http://ksarchive.com/viewseries.php?seriesid=13) series on the k/s archive, which has this specific description in part IV:
"Spock, like most young Vulcans, believes that Pon Farr can result in extreme violence. Only to discover that, although the mating drive is strong, violence has nothing to do with it. Rather, all emotions, including love and tenderness, are so heightened that they become, in the view of pure Vulcans, 'violent.'"
