TOS K/S with Jim drowning

It was set in the TOS verse and the crew were wandering around a planet and Jim and these redshirts had disappeared and Spock was manning a search and rescue. Turns out that it was this plant that had taken them and was killing them one by one by drowning them, and then absorbing their blood? Sulu manages to cut Spock loose accidentally just as the plant submerges Kirk and Spock dives back and forth to give Jim oxygen for 24 mins until the rescue team gets there. It was First Time...
Anyone know this one?? It was really long and REALLY good!
