Hi, I'm looking for a fic I read, I don't remember where...

I think it was a Friendship-fic, or it might've been slash... Anyways, about Spock being protective of Kirk and Kirk noticing, I think? It's from Kirk's POV and how he notices that when it comes to his own safety, Spock would do anything. One instance is when Kirk and Spock go on a mission to a planet where the residents are being attacked or something by a creature. Kirk just wants to kill it, but Spock refuses, saying that he wants to study it or whatever and that he's against killing all forms of life, or something. They go to a cave, and they have to separate to cover more ground, and Kirk ends up finding the creature. He calls Spock and tells him that he found the creature/monster and Spock does a complete 180 and tells Kirk to shoot it and Kirk is 'wtf I thought u didn't want us to kill it!' but Spock is all 'shoot it down' or whatever and then Kirk gets hurt, I think, and Spock shows up and saves the day.

ETA: Thanks to aya_esa , I remembered other parts of the fic and she commented with a summary that has a lot of other stuff that I didn't remember, and I added it below.

"The last part of the story is about Kirk stranded / kidnapped on some planet where someone pretends to be a God (maybe the ep with Apollo? not really sure, because there was not enough written about it) and Spock is on the Enterprise. Kirk thinks that Spock will surely destroy the "God"'s temple and says something like "I'm really sorry about your temple" and throws himself on the ground before the Enterprise fires."

I was reading a reboot Kirk/Spock fic (it was a one shot) and I lost it!
I remember that Kirk was reacting badly to Spock touching him because of the thing on the bridge where Spock strangled him (and that's about all I remember)
Sound familiar?

Looking for Kirk and Pike son/father fic.

I really adore the idea of Pike looking after Kirk in lieu of his dad. I know there are some Kirk/McCoy fics with Pike in that supervisor/father role, but are there others, maybe gen, that focus on, or at least mention that relationship? I'll accept any pairing, really.
