Kirk at the academy

Could you please recommend to me any good XI fics which are to do with Kirk's time at the academy?

AUs are entirely welcome. Gen, het and slash are all fine. I don't mind short fics, just not tiny ones (and no "five things..." type fics unless each one is fairly long).

I have already read a few fics which qualify; you can see the ones I loved at my bookmarks.

I'm looking for 3 things right now.

1. Kirk/Spock (TOS or XI) either mentally bonded or some form of mind meld. I do prefer longer fics, though shorter ones are love as well.

2. Kirk/Spock (TOS or XI) body!swapping. No gender bending please! I'm honestly not picky about much more than the 2 getting mixed up. length isn't a huge issue, though I do always adore chaptered, 40,000+ word fics.

3. Any good Data-centric fics out there that are LOOONG! I do adore slash, but gen is great as well. Angst is also a plus.

DS9-era fic

I read this one literally years ago, and I've tried my best to find it, to no avail. This was before I was on lj, and I don't remember the title, and from what I can tell ST fics tend to go 'poof' disconcertingly easily. Anyway. Maybe, miracle of miracles, someone can find this one.

It was a Star Trek fic, set probably during DS9, but the main characters were OCs. It was amazingly good. The main character is a female human smuggler who was captured and tortured by Cardassians (I want to say she was smuggling something into the demilitarized zone, but I can't remember). I do remember that one of the Cardassians had ripped out her fingernails during the torture to get her to talk. She and one of her captors get trapped on a planet together, and try to outwit one another. The story was well-written and gripping, and IIRC had at least two chapters. If anyone can find this one, I'll owe you free oral sex for life (or at least some squeeing and cyberhugs).
