AU Fic, Please?

Hey all. Sorry to bother you, but I was hoping you could help me with something. I'm looking for an AU Kirk/Spock (though it might actually be Spock/Kirk, but nevermind that). It's not a Mirrorverse fic, but if you have any you want to share, I will not turn it down! *Grin*
Basically, Kirk is captain of a ship -- I don't recall what it's called. He's in a shuttlecraft with a few crewmembers. Somehow or other, the group ends up on a Vulcan ship (Vulcans aren't part of the Federation). Spock is the captain of that vessel, and he is in Pon Farr. As it happens, no Vulcan can soothe his blood. The Vulcan doctor has him do light melds to test compatibility with the humans. (On that note, why, exactly, do we capitalize Vulcan and Klingon, etc., but not human? Anybody?) Surprise, Kirk is compatible. So, he gets dragged off and is promtply raped while unable to move. After it's all over, he's retruned to his crewmates and they are sent back.
Some time later, there is a gathering of human and Vulcan ships, and the leaders inform everyone that there is going be a mix-and-match. Kirk becomes captain of the Enterprise, and Spock becomes his first officer. Their ship is a mix of the two crews, and there is this one Vulcan woman who keeps giving Kirk hell. All of the Vulcans have cut their hair, except Spock, who wears an odd red/silver ornament that we later find out means he has commited a crime against a captain. Somehow or other, it is discovered that the two of them are still linked, and that they are t'hy'la. When Spock breaks the link, he cuts his hair.
I'm pretty sure it ends "happily ever after," but... I don't really remember much after that. I've been going through my links, but I seem to have either deleted it or forgotten to bookmark it. In any case, if you happen to have it, will you please let me know?
Of course, I am a fan of all AU fics, so even if you don't recall this one, if you have another AU favorite, I'd be glad to read that too!

Star Trek IX: Kirk/Spock Pon Farr fic

Hey, I've been revisiting some of my favourite Pon Farr fic lately, and I've been hit with a craving. I don't know whether the stories that address this exist, but I'd love it if they were, and thought I'd give it a shot asking.

(1) Kirk and Spock are in an established relationship, and they're prepared for Pon Farr. Either it's the first or their second or in some distant future, but what matters is that they're ready for it.

(2) Kirk/Spock fic (either first time or established), where Spock gets into Pon Farr when he's not around Kirk, and how they deal with that.

King Spock and Prince Jim Kirk

AU fic, from movie reboot. Main idea was that Spock because King of the galaxy(?) and had to marry. Jim was the worst choice to make, yet Spock chose him anyway. Kirk was a celebrated hero of the war with the Klingons/Romulans, and ended up become some sort of commander of the troops.
